Tiny Tots Development Center Job advertisement: Lead Teacher

 Early Childhood and Childcare Service Center has immediate need for one FT Lead Teacher.

 Education: AA degree in Early Childhood Education or enrolled in an accredited college. Must have already completed an ECE certificate program and want to continue in Early Childhood Education as a career. Employer will offer a 100% Education Tuition and Books stipend to assist.

 Experience: 2 years experience working with children in a school or daycare setting. Employer will provide additional company specific training if necessary.

 Requirements:

 Duties:

Develop curriculum for Pre-K School-Aged and Toddlers. Supervise and monitor games and activities.

Supervise and instruct assistants. Maintain a clean, safe, nurturing environment.

 Work schedule: Part-time, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM or full-time.

9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Starting wage: $12.50 to $16.00 per hour DOE and education plus benefits assistance.

 Job location: Seattle (Rainier Beach area)

Educational Requirements: Associate Degree or ECE certificate and enrolled in an accredited college.

Experience required: 2 years

License of Certification: Certified in STARS. 20 hour basic CPR & first aid, child abuse, AIDS and blood borne pathogens, hepatitis and negative TB test. Food handler’s permit.

Skills desired: Organized and detail oriented. Read, write and speak English fluently. Valid driver’s license and insurable. Work well with children and in a team setting.

Minimum pay: $12.50 / hr., depending on experience and education.
